Diamond Staffing Solutions to find a job? I am in the process of looking for a new job(the old one is a long story for another thread) and havent gotten many good bites from Monster or careerbuilder.

IMX, most firms don't use the services of an outside recruiting agency because they don't want to pay the fees involved.

Over the years I worked for many of the national chains and can tell you that you should apply directly with them via the local DM first, then move past them if possible to the home office for possible national consideration.

The ability to relocate (first move's costs are usually your responsibility) makes you easier to hire, as well--but be prepared to be offered a lame or troubled store at first with the expectation that you will have to 'turn it around' before you advance to the next level.

Prepare to be very flexible in pay negotiations. I remember companies that reported high earnings in the Trade press pleading poverty when it came time to pay me money.

You will work hours that will kill a galley slave. Ever wonder why the Mall stores all seem to have ever-changing youthful management?

I have been in the business for 11 years and definately know what you are talking about...Diamond staffing Solutions has already found a private jeweler in the area i want to live and they can "almost" guarantee me what i want in pay...i am hoping for paid ins. for me and my family and maybe moving expenses...i will let you all know how it goes!
