One such example is from Tolkowsky. The company recently introduced its branded Hearts and Arrows Ideal Cut diamond collection, which is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity that states that the consumer is buying an authentic conflict-free Tolkowsky diamond.
Jean Paul Tolkowsky introduced the collection and manufacturers each stone in his cutting factory. According to a statement from the company, the diamonds are GIA-certified and also include a "Birth Certificate" (provenance report), tracing each stone back to its place of origin and original rough size.
The company is one of 15 invited to open manufacturing facilities in Botswana.
Tolkowsky is a direct descendent of Marcel Tolkowsky, who defined the parameters of an ideal-cut diamond back in 1919. The jewelry line includes bridal, anniversary, pendants and earrings.
