I am considering purchasing a piece of jewellery for my girlfriend as a parting gift when I leave this city in a few months. She knows I'm leaving, and that things will come to an end when I go. Hopefully it will remain amicable, but you never know in advance with these situations. Anyway, I digress.

do you think this one looks nice?need some advise!im planning to buy a ring, don't know which one to pick.will this one be nice.

Well, it does look nice--on my computer monitor, magnified far larger than any ring would exist in real life and in two dimensions. No way to tell what the item looks like in it's normal three-dimensional state and size.

Tell us: what makes you shop for this special memento online, rather than visit the local jeweler--where you can actually handle and examine the item you wish to purchase?
