The other threads in this section of the forum discuss pinks/yellows/blues etc but I've seen nothing about black diamonds.
How are these created? They look a bit iffy to me but touted as being very fashionable. What's your opinion of them?

I love black diamonds! These are heavily included (black inclusions) diamonds and then heat treated to enhance the black. I'm not wearing my black and white jewelry today, but I'll try and post some pictures in the next day or two.

Also, fyi, black diamonds are very inexpensive, especially compared to the fancy colors (blue, pink, yellow). They make a huge impact, especially for people who wear alot of black in their wardrobes. (Hematite is also sometimes wrongly called black diamonds. This is only a misnomer as the two stones are not the same.)

I have seen so many it's crazy. I have seen Onyx I think looks much better. Now' this is just my $0.02.
